Please join us each Sunday in June from 2-4pm for the Mountain Street Stage June Music Series. The exciting summer concert line-up includes:

The Fayetteville Public Library invites veterans to record their military service stories and experiences for the Veterans History Project of the American Folklife Center. Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev meets with Lithuanian Prime Minister Kazimiera Prunskiene in an effort to settle differences arising from Lithuania's recent proclamation of independence from the Soviet Union. For Gorbachev, the meeting was a test of his skill and ability to maintain the crumbling Soviet empire.
