Get a Library Card?

If you are a resident of Fayetteville you are eligible for a free library card. People who reside in the city of Rogers, Bentonville or in Washington County are eligible for a free card. Those who work, own property, or attend school in Fayetteville are also eligible for a free library card. Others pay $30 per year for a library card.

You may pre-register here and then bring a photo ID and verification of your current address with you to the library. You will receive a temporary card number that will allow you to place holds on items. You will need to come into the library within 3 months to get your permanent card.

If you do not live in Fayetteville, Washington County, Rogers or Bentonville but work, attend school or own property in Fayetteville, bring appropriate proof, e.g. current property tax bill, pay stub, student ID. Children and teenagers under the age of 18 need a parent present to provide photo ID, verification of current address, and sign for the application.
