Fayetteville Public Library provides two eBook services, OverDrive® and 3M Cloud Library, to allow patrons to download eBooks.
To download eBooks with OverDrive® or 3M, you'll need to install free software on your computer / device.
To get started with 3M, you can visit the 3M Cloud Library website to download the app or view instructions for using the service.
FPL patrons can download audiobooks through OneclickDigital.

Freegal Music allows FPL patrons to download DRM-free mp3s and music videos from our Freegal client that patrons can keep forever.

Zinio allows FPL cardholders to download magazines that can be accessed through an app on computers and devices.

To print wirelessly, users will need to have an FPL library card. Guest passes for printing from library computers can be obtained at the reference desk.
Users also need to have a print account. To set up a print account, please visit the reference desk.
To print, you must have sufficient print credits on your print account.

If you are a resident of Fayetteville you are eligible for a free library card. People who reside in the city of Rogers, Bentonville or in Washington County are eligible for a free card. Those who work, own property, or attend school in Fayetteville are also eligible for a free library card. Others pay an annual fee for a library card.
You may pre-register here and then bring a photo ID and verification of your current address with you to the library. You will receive a temporary card number that will allow you to place holds on items. You will need to come into the library within 3 months to get your permanent card.
If you do not live in Fayetteville, Washington County, Rogers or Bentonville but work, attend school or own property in Fayetteville, bring appropriate proof, e.g. current property tax bill, pay stub, student ID. Children and teenagers under the age of 18 need a parent present to provide photo ID, verification of current address, and sign for the application.
Search the Digital Archive
The FPL Digital Archive contains locally-created collections of images, music, and videos submitted by FPL residents or collected through FPL's special programming.

As a service to FPL library card holders, the library provides a test proctoring service. Only those tests which meet the guidelines of the Library Test Proctoring Procedures will be proctored.

Interlibrary loan (ILL) service enables customers to borrow materials from libraries outside of the Fayetteville Public Library collection. Lending libraries participate voluntarily in a nation-wide network to provide library users with access to materials.
Take Online Classes
Fayetteville Public Library allows FPL cardholders to take online classes through its Universal Class service. You will need your card and pin number to log in.
Reserve a Meeting Room
Fayetteville Public Library provides meeting rooms for use by Fayetteville residents or property owners who possess a valid Library card or governmental agencies. For more information about FPL meeting rooms, including policies, fees, and the online registration form, click here.
Reserve a Study Room
Fayetteville Public Library has six study rooms for check-out by Fayetteville residents or property owners who possess a valid Library card or governmental agencies. The larger two rooms, Leverenz and Large Study Room, maybe reserved 24 hours in advance by calling (479) 856-7250. All other study rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve bais at the Reference Desk on the second floor. For more information about FPL study rooms, including procedures, click here.

Request homebound services from FPL
Lending Hands, Fayetteville Public Library's outreach service to the homebound, provides personal delivery of library materials to persons of all ages who reside within the city limits of Fayetteville and are physically unable to come to the library due to age, illness, or disability.
