Books & Brews Book Club

Book clubs pair well with frosty craft beers.  Fayetteville Public Library and Core Brewing Company have joined forces to present the Books & Brews book club beginning on May 2 at 6:00 pm.  The first Tuesday of each month, drop by Core Brewing Company at 3671 N. Mall Avenue for fascinating book discussions led by FPL librarians.

Books & Brews will discuss a wide variety of fiction and nonfiction titles.  From bestselling authors to classics, these selections are a fun way to expand your reading horizons.  Our first selection is The Martian by Andy Weir.  Weir's first title skyrocketed to unexpected success and was transformed into the film that received 7 Academy Award nominations in 2016.  If you love the book or the film, then this discussion is perfect for you.  Copies of the book are available at the library's checkout desk in the lobby.

Upcoming discussions include:

Tuesday, June 6 at 6:00 pm:  Pirate Hunters: Treasure, Obsession, and the Search for a Legendary Pirate Ship by Robert Kurson

Tuesday, July 11 at 6:00 pm (delayed by the holiday):  Walden on Wheels by Ken Ilgunas

Contact the Reference Desk at 479.856.7250 or questions@faylib.org for more information.
