The Fayetteville Public Library’s sustainability series continues on Saturday, February 20, from 10 a.m. to noon.
The Green Your Life Series focuses on simple ways to achieve a more energy-efficient lifestyle by introducing elements such as weatherization, recycling, water conservation and solar energy options, such as adding solar panels.
The February 20 program will discuss watershed and the use of rain barrels, rain gardens and rainwater catchment systems for the home.
The series will continue on March 20 and April 17.
The final program will include a reverse trade show, putting homeowners in touch with the businesses that can help them achieve their sustainability goals.
Representatives from the city of Fayetteville, Home Energy Consultants, the Treadwell Institute, Beaver Water District, the Rocky Grove Sun Company and Stitt Energy Systems will present different aspects of the series.
All programs will be in the library’s Walker Community Room.
