Books in Motion
If your book club struggles to find multiple copies for your members to read, then FPL might have your solution. Books in Motion: for book clubs that are always on the go.
Over the years, the FPL sponsored book clubs have generated quite a variety of titles that are now becoming available to check out as a single kit through Books in Motion. Some of the titles included are:
- Gilead by Marilynne Robinson
- The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini
- The Devil in the White City by Erik Larson
- Slaves in the Family by Edward Ball
Each kit includes 10 copies of a book and a facilitator's folder full of discussion questions, themes, author biographies, book reviews and other supportive information to spark interesting conversations within any book group. Kits are packed for easy portability in either a FPL box or book bag.
Books in Motion kits are now available for 30 day check out periods and are renewable. Customers may also request an extended check out period if desired. Books in Motion titles can be found in the catalog or by visiting the Reading Room menu on our website.
