Nonprofit Resource Center
About the Nonprofit Resource Center
The Fayetteville Public Library's Nonprofit Resource Center helps individuals and nonprofit organizations identify potential grant funding sources.
The center, located on the second floor of Blair Library, has access to the Foundation Directory Online, a treasure trove of information on 80,000 foundations and almost 500,000 recently awarded grants. While most private funding goes to nonprofit organizations, the center also offers online access to Grants for Individuals, a database of more than 6,200 grantmaker programs that award money directly to individuals.
The library is proud to make print and electronic resources available to Northwest Arkansas as part of a Foundation Center Cooperating Collection venture. In addition to this cooperating venture, FPL is enhancing its resources with a variety of professional journals and circulating guides to further aid area fundraisers.
Fayetteville Public Library cardholders have access to all materials and databases housed at the library. Residents of Washington County are eligible for free library cards, as are those who work, own property, or attend school within the county. In addition, the library offers free cards to staff and board members of nonprofit organizations in Benton, Carroll, and Madison counties.
