The Fayetteville Public Library Teen Advisory Board empowers area teens to help strengthen Fayetteville and its neighboring communities by contributing to the development of and participation in recreational and informational Library programs and events, as well as the delivery of services and materials to teens who visit FPL and its related venues.
TAB Purpose
Teens are a vital part of any thriving community. Likewise, the services provided for teens via the Fayetteville Public Library are a fundamental part of the Library’s continuum of library services. TAB gives Fayetteville’s youth a voice regarding Library planning and the implementation of programming and services on their behalf. Ongoing input from an engaged group of teens and young adults who regularly utilize FPL will result in improved services for all people in grades 6-12, while enhancing the community as a whole.
