Join the Roberta Fulbright Society

The Directors of the Fayetteville Public Library Foundation have created the Roberta Fulbright Society to recognize individuals who make significant annual gifts to support Library programs and services and to endow the Library for future generations.

Members of the Roberta Fulbright Society receive special invitations to Library events and other benefits. There are five levels of membership in the society.

We invite you to become a member of the Roberta Fulbright Society. By joining, you become a valuable part of a new tradition of giving to the Fayetteville Public Library Foundation, which enriches the lives of thousands of children and adults in Northwest Arkansas every day.

Annual Giving and the Roberta Fulbright Society

Annual gifts provide vital support to the Fayetteville Public Library's growing schedule of programs and services. Separate from capital gifts, which are used for building projects, annual gifts provide flexible funding that can be used to start new projects and explore new initiatives. Roberta Fulbright Society members also help fulfill a major Foundation goal of increasing the endowment. Part of each gift will be used to help build the endowment.

We ask Roberta Fulbright Society members to consider making a multiple-year commitment when joining. This allows us the opportunity to budget for multi-year initiatives and programs and insures the security of these special programs.

Individuals who contribute $500 or more annually are recognized by membership in the Roberta Fulbright Society.

Roberta Fulbright Levels of Giving

Mark Twain Circle
A gift of $10,000 and above per year
The opportunity to name a collection in the Library, plus all Tennessee Williams Circle benefits.

Tennessee Williams Circle
A gift of $5,000 to $9,999 per year
An invitation to an exclusive dinner with a speaker from the Fayetteville Public Library, plus all William Faulkner Circle benefits

William Faulkner Circle
A gift of $2,500 to $4,999 per year
An invitation to an event in honor of William Faulkner Circle members, copies of signed books from readings held at the Library, plus all Flannery O'Connor Circle benefits

Flannery O'Connor Circle
A gift of $1,000 to $2,499 per year
A gift of an exclusively designed bookmark, a behind-the-scenes tour of the Fayetteville Public Library, plus all Eudora Welty Circle benefits

Eudora Welty Circle
A gift of $500—$999 per year
Invitations to Roberta Fulbright Society Reception to be held in conjunction with a Fayetteville Public Library program

National Endowment for the Humanities

The Fayetteville Public Library Foundation is a recipient of a National Endowment for the Humanities Challenge Grant. All funds raised through the Roberta Fulbright Society will be used to meet the match and will be expended for the approved purposes of the grant.
