Join us in celebrating two decades of serving our community from the Fayetteville Public Library’s iconic Mountain Street location! This October, we’re marking this milestone with a month-long series of exciting events and special partnerships. Here’s how you can get involved:
Help us celebrate by supporting the next 20 years of learning, creativity, and community at FPL. On October 9 (and all month long!), donate $20 (or more!) to commemorate 20 years at our Mountain Street home.
Raise a glass to 20 years of FPL! Join us at Urban Cellar Winery on October 9 for the exclusive release of two limited-edition wines created in honor of our anniversary. If you can't join for the release party, these special wines will be available for purchase all month long, with proceeds benefitting FPL Foundation.
We’ve teamed up with local businesses to bring you unique experiences that support the library’s mission. Check out these exciting partnerships:
Wednesday, October 9: Release party for two limited-edition 20th anniversary bottles.
Starting October 9: Enjoy these limited-edition wines by the glass or bottle, with a portion of proceeds benefitting FPL Foundation.
Wednesday, October 16: Sing for a Cause! 50% of karaoke fees on this night will be donated to FPL Foundation. Celebrate our anniversary by singing your favorite hits from 2004 (Usher, Maroon 5 and OutKast were big, to name a few!).
Every Thursday in October: $1 from every pint sold will be donated to FPL Foundation.
Thursday, October 24: Test your literary knowledge at Bookworm Trivia, a special trivia night with great prizes!
All October: Sip on a special limited-edition cocktail, with a portion of the proceeds supporting FPL Foundation.
All October: We're toasting to 20 years of Arsaga's on Mountain Street, too! Celebrate with a special limited-edition Birthday Party Affogato at the FPL Arsaga's!
On October 9, 2004, the doors to the Blair Library building officially opened, ushering in a new chapter for the Fayetteville Public Library. For the past two decades, our library has been a cornerstone of learning, creativity, and connection in the heart of Fayetteville. Now, in 2024, we invite you to celebrate 20 amazing years of service at this location with a month full of exciting events and community partnerships.
