Amanda Arafat is a Palestinian-American recipe-developer, chef, cottage baker, and organizer. As owner and baker of Amanda Makes she serves her seasonal baked goods and beverages to customers all around Northwest Arkansas. And as co-founder of Big Gay Market, she has found purpose in creating opportunity for economic advancement and support-building within the local LGBTQ+ community. Amanda loves living in Fayetteville, and does so happily with her partner, Heath, and their cats Nate, Veronica, and Miso.
