Please join 2nd Sunday Local Author Will Allred on Sunday, November 11th at 2:00pm in the Walker Community Room for his presentation on his new graphic novel Diary of Night.

He created Diary of Night for BloodFire Studios, contributed to the Eisner-nominated Comics through Time and multiple academic books on comics, and is writing a second novel. Will received his Ph.D. in English from the University of Arkansas and is a longtime member of the nonprofit Grand Comics Database Project, having served for several years on its Board of Directors. In addition, Will has been engaged to speak at multiple comics and technology conventions. Will is an avid reader and is a lifelong fan of the comic’s medium. He loves learning new things and has recently learned the basics of lettering. He also enjoys teaching and spending time with his wife and twin sons.

Will’s new graphic novel Diary of Night has a modern day twist on a legend that dates back hundreds of years. Feared, hated, and hunted. Vampires exist, but not those of myth and legend. They are just like us, good, bad, but mostly afraid. They're afraid of the light, of people, of each other, of being found out, and of dying again. Catherine Morrison has spent the better part of 900 years walking the line between humans and vampires...protecting her people from the worst of humanity and humanity from the worst of her people.  She is loved, feared, and sometimes even hated, but she's never been hunted.

Until now…..

Book will be available for sale and signing after the presentation.
