Ozarkansas Tool Library

The Ozarkansas Tool Library is a partnership between Feed Communities and Fayetteville Public Library that allows residents to borrow tools for gardening and home improvement projects.

What You Need

Patrons need a Fayetteville Public Library card in good standing to borrow tools. Additionally, the library will only check out tools to patrons age 18 and older.

How to Check Tools Out

To check out tools from the Ozarkansas Tool Library, please go to the Feed Communities building located at 221 South Locust Avenue southeast of the library. Tools will be available for pickup on Mondays from 9 a.m. to noon and on Fridays from noon to 4 p.m. You can also schedule an appointment by calling Feed Communities at (479) 966-4790. Tools check out for 7 days starting from the day you receive your receipt.

Late fees for tools are $1 per day. Borrowers are responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen tools.

Some tools require an appointment for checkout. To arrange an appointment, call Feed Communities at (479) 966-4790.

How to Donate

Feed Communities is currently accepting donations of new or gently-used tools for the library. Suggested donations include:

• Hand tools, like hammers, saws, and screwdrivers

• Gardening tools, like rakes, hoes, and spades

• Power tools, like circular saws, drills, and shop vacs

You can donate tools at the Feed Communities building located at 221 South Locust Avenue on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Feed Communities will also accept donations at their table at the Fayetteville Farmers' Market throughout the month of April.
