Year of Event: 2007Classical guitarist Peter Fletcher will perform a variety of well-known pieces when he visits the library on Sunday, Feb.11 at 2 p.m.
Fletcher's performance will include Recuerdos de la Alhambra by Francisco Tarrega and Chaconne and Prelude, Fugue and Allegro by J.S. Bach.
The concert will culminate with Koyunbaba by Italian guitarist and composer Carlo Domeniconi.
A native of Atlanta, Fletcher began playing guitar at seven years old and made his formal debut at 15.
He has played throughout the country and this month, performed at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall.
His three recordings are The Art of Classical Guitar, A Peter Fletcher Recital and Federico Mompou: Guitar Works.
The event is free and open to the public.
