Year of Event: 2007Summer Reading Club at the Fayetteville Public Library kicks off Saturday, June 2 with programs for preschool through high school.
From 10 am to noon, preschool and elementary participants and their families will be entertained by magician Scott Davis and K-Cee the Clown, balloon animals, a treasure hunt, a photo booth and face painting. Events will occur in the Walker Community Room.
From noon to 2 pm, students in 6th through 9th grade will create Harry Potter crafts and have a sneak peek of other summer events, a photo booth, pizza and prizes. Events will occur in the Walker Community Room.
From noon to 2 pm, students in 10th through 12th grade will take part in a camera giveaway and have a chance to document Fayetteville. Events will occur in the Wal-Mart Storytime Room.
The events are free.
Summer reading sign up continues through August 8.
