Your Impact at FPL

← Back to FPL Foundation Home

Every program, book, and outreach visit is powered by people like you. When you give to the FPL Foundation, you're investing in literacy, access, civic life, and the freedom to learn. Together, we expanded access, safeguarded intellectual freedom, and built a stronger, more connected community.

Expanding Access for All

11,000+ community members connected with FPL’s bookmobile – a 200% increase over the previous year! From Walker Park to the Yvonne Richardson Center, we’re meeting people where they are.

A Hub for Civic Engagement

FPL hosted candidate forums and early voting, welcomed 1,300+ visitors daily, answered 74,000+ reference questions, and notarized documents for 1,218 residents. That's a 102% increase from last year!

Defending Your Right to Read

In 2024, FPL stood up for First Amendment rights... and won! We joined a successful legal challenge against Arkansas’s Act 372, which aimed to censor libraries. While the fight isn’t over, we’re proud to be on the front lines.
