"Our mission is to strengthen our community and empower our citizens through free and public access to knowledge."
INNOVATION SPEAKER
Friday, August 12, 6pm
In this hour-long moderated conversation with punk rock legend, Henry Rollins, we will explore topics relating to free speech, censorship, public libraries and technology.
ARTIST CALL
We encourage artists to submit an interpretation of a banned or challenged book to be made into trading cards. Each piece should represent the ongoing struggle for intellectual freedom and the dangers of censorship.
Submission deadline is Friday, August 5.
