Learning Lab: Lasers (Ages 13+) *

CFI: Koenig Family Fabrication & Robotics Lab (1st Floor)Learn about the lasers! Each participant will earn a digital badge on their library card, allowing them to book the equipment anytime through our website.
This lab will focus on using the Epilogue Zing and Glowforge Pro Lasers. We'll talk about how to safely operate the equipment, what materials are approved for use, and how to send files to the lasers.
These learning labs are designed for new Fabrication Lab users so that CFI staff can provide information on specific equipment and teach users proper operating procedures and safety measures. Once patrons have completed the learning lab, they will receive a digital badge on their library card so that they can easily reserve lab equipment through FPL's website.
These learning labs are required for all users before booking an appointment to use the equipment.
