Learn the essentials of the Center for Innovation's sewing and embroidery machines, including setup, safety, and basic operations, featuring the Singer Heavy Duty 6800 and the Brother PE 545.

Join us for a workshop on the fundamentals of using our new sewing and embroidery machines. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refresh your skills, this session will cover everything you need to know to confidently operate two popular machines: the Singer Heavy Duty 6800 and the Brother PE 545.

In this session, participants will learn the following:

  • Basic Set Up: Understand how to properly set up both machines, including threading the needle, winding the bobbin, and attaching the presser foot.
  • Safety Measures: Learn important safety precautions for handling the machines, including proper power and foot pedal usage, fabric handling techniques, and machine maintenance tips.
  • Basic Operations: Master essential sewing and embroidery techniques, such as selecting stitches, sewing straight stitches, reverse stitching, and loading embroidery designs.
