Venture down to the Fabrication & Robotics Lab to learn how to create and paint your own Objective Pieces for various Role-Playing Games (RPGs).
This is a two-part class on Saturday, July 13th & Saturday, July 20th from 1:30–3:30 pm.
July 13th
Chapter 1: Boss Battle - Paint a D&D Monster Miniature
In this beginner-friendly workshop, Richard Young will introduce you to the gigantic Ent, a formidable boss monster for your D&D quests. Over the course of 1.5 hours, you'll learn essential techniques, including:
· Selecting and mixing vibrant colors
· Applying smooth base coats
· Drybrushing for wood textures
· Using washes to create depth and shadow
All supplies will be provided by the CFI. By the end of the class, you'll have a painted Ent miniature, ready to challenge any adventurer.
July 20th
Chapter 2: Epic Loot: Paint a D&D Treasure Pile
In this beginner-friendly workshop, Richard Young will guide you through painting a glittering treasure pile, a captivating game objective for your Dungeons & Dragons quests. Over the course of 1.5 hours, you'll learn techniques including:
· Selecting and mixing colors
· Applying smooth base coats
· Drybrushing for metallic effects
· Using washes to create depth and shadow
All supplies will be provided by the CFI. By the end of the class, you'll have a dazzling treasure pile miniature, perfect for enticing adventurers. But beware—has the Ent from the first chapter truly been defeated, or is it still lurking?
