Join us in celebration of Andrew Kilgore and his most recent curated work from his 1970's archives. Take a step back in time with us to 1970s Fayetteville.

Join photographer Andrew Kilgore for a presentation of his most recently curated work from his 1970's archives. After a short presentation of the photos set to music, Andrew will invite questions and comments from the audience and host a discussion which is sure to be filled with conversations around photography, philosophy, and his perspective on any other topic you are interested in asking about.

Andrew Kilgore is a Fayetteville, Arkansas-based photographer with a 54-year career dedicated to documenting the lives of Arkansas people from all walks of life from millionaires to unseen and underrepresented communities and everyone in between. With nearly a million images to his name of over 40,000 people, Kilgore published the book Arkansas People and has showcased his work in at least 20 touring exhibits culminating in his retrospective at Walton Arts Center and Governor's Arts Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2023. His latest project with the University of Arkansas revisits his 1970s archives, curating a new portfolio of that era.
