The gut-brain axis is a communication network between the gut and the brain. Understanding this communication is essential to improving health and well-being.

Clinton Fleming shows us how the gut-brain connection is essential for understanding and treating various health conditions. Imbalances in gut microbiota, known as dysbiosis, can negatively affect mental health by disrupting the production and transmission of key neurotransmitters, leading to conditions such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

His coaching approach, inspired by functional medicine, focuses on restoring balance through personalized guidance. This includes educating you about:

  • Essential dietary changes 
  • Proper food preparation and cooking techniques
  • The importance of prebiotics and probiotics
  • Recognizing whole foods medicine
  • Implementing effective stress management techniques
About the presenter

Clinton Fleming, BSN, RN,NC-BC is a dedicated board certified Nurse Coach, Faith Community Nurse, wellness advocate, Christian author, and entrepreneur based in Tontitown, Arkansas. With a passion for holistic healing, he empowers individuals to improve their health and well-being through functional medicine, mindful living, and personalized wellness strategies. Through Shade Tree Health and Wellness, Clinton creates a non-biased space for education, healing, and transformation, helping individuals achieve balance in their mental, physical, and emotional health. His work focuses on guiding others to overcome strongholds and flourish in their health and wellness journeys.  

As the author of Responding to the Call: Resuscitating the Heart of Man Back to God, Clinton shares profound insights on faith, renewal, and spiritual growth. His commitment to holistic wellness extends the opportunity to integrate Christian principles, offering individuals the tools to align their health with their spiritual journey.
