Learn how to package and wrap gifts and make your own cards using upcycled materials in this hands-on workshop, presented in partnership with CreativeMornings/Fayetteville.
Join us for a workshop teaching creative, eco-friendly ways to package and wrap your gifts and make your own cards using upcycled and "rescued" materials such as magazines, newspapers, paper bags, fabric scraps, found objects, and "junk drawer" ephemera. Materials will be supplied. Please bring any gifts you would like to wrap, and feel free to bring upcycled materials you would like to use or contribute. Gifts not necessary for activity — we will have alternative items to decorate!
Angel (@l.l.foxtrot) and Andria (@byandbystudio) two local creatives, are committed to minimizing virgin materials, upcycling, reducing waste, and helping people delight in making things with their own hands and with what they probably already have at home or were even about to throw out. This event is in partnership with CreativeMornings/Fayetteville (@cm_fayetteville), a monthly free breakfast and speaker series + community gathering group helping our region stay curious and connected.
