Join us as local author and engineering student, Corrin Bowen, reads her book and leads a hands-on engineering project.
We will listen to a story about Brynn, a biomedical engineer who goes on an adventure to create a prosthetic wing for her daughter, Lea, so that she can fly. Along the way, she gets help from her engineering friends to design, build and test the perfect wing. Learn about different fields of engineering along the way and the importance of working together through the engineering design process.
After listening to Engineering Adventure, students will apply the engineering design process to design, build, and test their own model prosthetic wing.
Each attendee needs to be registered individually and under their own name.
