Presenters Itto and Mekiya Ottini will help aspiring and emerging artists and writers secure professional opportunities, such as grants, residencies, fellowships, and awards.
Attendees will learn how to find funding opportunities best suited to their needs, as well as how to construct and review grant applications. This presentation will be followed by a Q&A.
In addition to being full-time writers, Itto and Mekiya Ottini run an author support platform, The DateKeepers, and co-host a podcast and YouTube about the arts, Let's Have a Renaissance. Their work has earned support from prestigious organizations including the MacDowell Foundation, the Edward F. Albee Foundation, the Steinbeck Fellowship Program, and the Fulbright Program.
