Elephant in the Exam Room: Leveraging Integrated Behavioral Health Care to Address Trauma and PTSD in Primary Care by Marley Fradley, M.A.
Marley Fradley, M.A., is a third-year clinical psychology doctoral student at the University of Arkansas. Her research interests include exploring the intersections between trauma exposure, posttraumatic stress, and the justice system and addressing gaps between evidence-based practice and populations experiencing exigent treatment needs, such as those with histories of justice involvement, housing insecurity, and chronic and acute mental and behavioral health conditions.
Strong Face, Strong Judgments: How People Stereotype Men Through Their Faces by Mitch Brown, PhD.
Dr. Mitch Brown is an instructor and research of psychological science at the University of Arkansas and director of the Social Perception and Human Evolutionary Research Lab. He earned his PhD in experimental psychology at The University of Southern Mississippi in 2019 and has been in Fayetteville since 2020. His research interests focus on the evolutionary nature of social perceptions with a focus on mate preferences and men's formidability. More recent endeavors have seen him start to address censorship in academic research and how to navigate polarizing conversations while maintaining free speech.
A Mobile Intervention for Insomnia Among College Students by Veronica Floyd.
Veronica is a 4th year clinical psychology doctoral student at the University of Arkansas. She is interested in the implementation and dissemination of behavioral sleep medicine interventions and how these treatments can be adapted to make them more easily accessible for diverse populations. Veronica is also interested in understanding sleep health in groups that are often at risk or more vulnerable to sleep health disparities.
