Come and learn how to make oatmeal cottage cheese pancakes and fruit syrup with Chef Carlos that can be enjoyed for any meal! This recipe has the added bonus of being gluten free.
Aprons and hairnets will be provided following health and safety standards, but participants may wear their own hats during the program. Allergy warning: This program contains dairy, and egg.
Chef Carlos is originally from Sinaloa, Mexico, and relocated to NWA almost six years ago.
His passion for food has led him to try and experience different flavors worldwide to make one of his own. Despite being rooted in the flavors of Mexico, International cuisine has been his inspiration for a unique culinary fusion experience.
During his years in Mexico, he established a homemade food business targeting people under a weight loss program by delivering low-carb food. Since arriving at NWA, he has had some experience working at popular restaurants. Not long ago, he started his own catering food services company delighting customers at private events and at-home experiences, combining cooking classes with a touch of DIY-at-the-kitchen experience.
Chef Carlos Leon holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial design from Mexico and, most recently, a degree in Culinary Arts and Artisanal Food from Brightwater at Bentonville, AR - Class of 2023.
