Fayetteville Public Library
Art & Movement Room (2nd Floor)Join us for an intermediate pencil drawing class with local artist, Elaine Eckert.
Join us for an intermediate pencil drawing workshop that will go beyond the drawing basics of line, value and perception to explore insights into composition, perspective and light. Adding these to a foundation of the basics will further assist the exploration of drawing as a means of expression and representation. Participants are encouraged to bring samples of their current drawing endeavors. Supplies will be provided.
About the instructor:
Elaine Eckert resides in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, having wandered widely. Since 1995, she has used drawing and painting in various mediums to challenge her perceptions of reality. Currently, Elaine is collaborating on a number of projects with the Dickson Street Bookshop. She most recently draws inspiration from classic science fiction/fantasy illustration and a love of glazed donuts. For more information on Elaine, visit elaineeckertart.myportfolio.com.
