Let's explore music, art, science, history and poetry through movement!  Michelle LeBlanc will lead a creative movement class that ties into core curricular subjects.

Michelle is a classically trained dancer and has over 20 years teaching, choreographic, performance and education experience. She has recently returned to Fayetteville from New York City. While in New York she received her MA in dance education from NYU, became an American Ballet Theater certified teacher levels primary through three, and attended teacher training in the Horton technique at the Alvin Ailey School. Upon completion of her master's degree, she taught at Grace Church School in Manhattan (a private college prep school) . There she led movement classes for grades 2-6 and was artistic director of the middle school dance ensemble. Currently, Michelle is a Lecturer of dance at The University of Arkansas. She genuinely loves collaborating with adults and children to find movement in everything. She is an expert in arts integration and corralling spirited children. She looks forward to bringing her expertise, love of dance, education, and children to the Fayetteville Public Library.

This class will be taught through Zoom. Registration is required and will begin September 21st at 9 am.
