Join CD Eskilson to learn more about the relationship between music & poetry!
From the ancient oral traditions of bards to contemporary spoken word artists, poetry has maintained a close relationship to the world of music. Additionally, poets have also been inspired by songs and written in response to the music around them. This generative poetry workshop will examine how poets today use music as the first step in the writing process. Participants will craft poems and listen to music in order to take their writing into new and unexpected directions.
