Join us for a poetry workshop from Julia Paganelli Marin from Bee Balm Arkansas.
LGBTQIA+ poetry is expansive, just like the folks who write it. It breaks rules, it’s joyous, it’s hilarious, it’s heartbreaking and heartwarming, just like they are. In this free class, come explore what queer poetry looks like today and get a better sense of how to read through the Fayetteville Public Library’s dynamic collection.
This is a beginner-centered class, open to any poetry reader of all levels. If you’ve always been interested in poetry and have had a hard time finding a starting point or just want to be moved by queer stories, this space is for you.
This class is taught by Julia Paganelli Marín, the Creator and Director of Bee Balm Arkansas, a community writing experience in Northwest Arkansas. Learn more about the group's writing and writing community opportunities by signing up for their newsletter here or by following them on Instagram.
