Celebrate the art of weaving with the Northwest Arkansas Handweavers Guild at this day-long event. Drop in to try your own hand at weaving with the help of guild members and see expert weavers creating textile art on looms. Have questions about weaving? Guild members can help with that too!
The Northwest Arkansas Handweavers Guild (NWAHG), founded in 1949 in West Fork, is celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2024. As a part of its celebration, the guild will have an exhibit of textile art on display at the library from May 1 - July 31. Guild members will also have a weaving demonstration on July 11 in the Lucky Day Lobby on level 2.
