Lucky Day Lobby (2nd Floor)Weavers from the Northwest Arkansas Handweavers Guild will be on site to demonstrate weaving on floor looms.
Celebrate the art of weaving with the Northwest Arkansas Handweavers Guild. Guild members will be creating textile art before your very eyes. Drop by the Lucky Day Lobby on level 2 to see them working on floor looms. While you're there, enjoy the guild's textile art on display nearby!
The Northwest Arkansas Handweavers Guild (NWAHG), founded in 1949 in West Fork, is celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2024. As a part of its celebration, the guild will have an exhibit of textile art on display at the library from May 1 - July 31 in the Lucky Day Lobby on level 2.
This program is free and open to the public. No registration required.
