Filet your own fish and cook a tasty entreé.
During the sign of Pisces, join us at our Teaching Kitchen to learn how to prepare fresh fish filets with Chef Amon!
In this class, we will learn how to filet a whole fish and then prepare a delicious and healthy entreé.
Practice knife skills as we start with a whole Tilapia and remove the filets.
Then, learn to cook them to perfection!
Tilapia is a versatile, inexpensive, mild white fish that is available at most supermarkets, typically already fileted. Feel free to use what you learn in this class on a great variety of similar fishes!
Please wear long pants and closed-toed shoes. Hairnets will be provided, or feel free to wear your own clean cap. Long hair should be restrained.
All abilities are welcome. For disability accommodations, call 479.856.7250 or email questions@faylib.org 2-3 weekdays before a program.
