Ready to dive into the world of electronic music? Join us for an interactive class where you’ll learn how to use Korg Volca synthesizers to create beats, basslines, and melodies. Whether you’re a beginner or just curious about hardware synths, this workshop will guide you through the basics of sequencing, sound design, and live performance techniques using the compact and powerful Volca series.
We’ll cover everything from setting up your Volcas to syncing multiple devices and experimenting with different sounds. No prior experience is needed—just bring your creativity! Equipment will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you have a Volca at home.

About the Presenter
Theron Sunderland, known as Theronious, is a vinyl DJ with a passion for techno, jazz, and house music. He selects and plays records at Loveless Cocktail Club in downtown Bentonville, shaping its musical atmosphere. He also hosts a Saturday afternoon radio show from 12 PM to 2 PM on Bentonville Public Radio, sharing deep cuts from his collection. His sets highlight the warmth of analog records and takes listeners on a rhythmic journey through sound. Beyond his own sets, he actively supports other DJs and musicians, sharing his knowledge of synthesizers and turntable techniques to help grow Northwest Arkansas's music community.
