Learn how to create detailed relief carvings with the library's own Carbide Nomad 3 CNC mill.
This class will cover the basics of generating toolpaths for 2.5D reliefs, selecting the right bits, and optimizing settings for efficiency and detail. We'll explore how these files can be created using 3D models and regular photos!
Completion of the CNC Learning Lab and basic familiarity with vector design software is highly recommended.
Note: This class does not replace the orientation and does not grant participants the ability to reserve the CNC for personal use. Please use the event calendar HERE to sign up for an upcoming CNC Learning Lab.
All abilities are welcome. For disability accommodations, call 479.856.7050 or email centerforinnovation@faylib.org 2-3 days before a program.
This program is designed for participants 13 and older. Ages 9-12 may attend if accompanied by a responsible adult.
