CFI Bots: Drawing with Dobot the Robot (Ages 13+) *

Learn the basics of robotic automation and gain hands-on experience sketching and plotting with the library's robotic arms!

Explore the world of robotics with Dobot Magician, a versatile robot designed to teach automation, programming, and precision control. These Dobot-themed workshops will run from May through July, but participants can jump in at any time!

• Day 1 (May 13): This session focuses on the assembly and set up of Dobot, learning how its components work together to perform basic movements. We'll also explore how robotic arms are used in real-world applications. 
• Day 2 (June 10): This session introduces coding and programming the arm. We'll learn how to use the bots to draw custom sketches and then practice our skills through team-based games like charades and chess!

No prior robotics experience is needed. You can also join us in July for CFI Bots: Dobot the Builder, where we'll experiment with Dobot's various end-effectors to fabricate and automate. Learn more →
