Join FPL's own Chef Amon as we learn how to handle, process and prepare fresh artichokes!

Intimidated by this prickly pleasure?

Leaf it to Chef Amon to peel back the layers of mystery surrounding the humble artichoke and its preparation. 

This ancient vegetable's thorns may be bristly, but its heart is full of love. 

In this class, we will take out the CHOKE and focus on the ART in our kitchen, learning how to best handle them along with a few recipe ideas and dipping sauces. 

Please be prepared with the following safety guidelines:

  • Hairnets and aprons will be provided. You may wear a clean hat of your own if you prefer.
  • Long hair should be restrained. 
  • Please wear long pants and closed-toed shoes.
