Come design a map for your RPG!
The Dungeon Design Lab is a hands-on workshop where participants learn to create compelling 5-room dungeons from concept to completion. Using the classic 5-room structure, the Tome of Adventure Design, and practical mapping techniques, attendees will craft dynamic layouts filled with challenges, role-playing encounters, and memorable bosses. By the end, everyone will have a fully designed dungeon ready for their next RPG session.
Christopher Spencer of Fayetteville is a lifelong gamer who rolled his first d20 in the mid-1980s as a kid growing up in South Arkansas. By day, he works in communications—but his favorite side quest is serving as a professional dungeon master and writer.
He is a part owner of Gear Gaming and a co-founder of Ozark Dice & Destiny (ODD), a play-and-publish company focused on tabletop roleplaying games. Christopher recently completed Phandelver and Below: The Shattered Obelisk from Wizards of the Coast, running it for a group of six wildly creative teens.
