Try weaving with help from guild members and enjoy watching expert weavers demonstrate their craft.
Color our world and experience the art of weaving with the Northwest Arkansas Handweavers Guild at this day-long event. Drop in to try your own hand at weaving with the help of guild members and see how expert weavers create textile art on looms. Have questions about weaving? Guild members can help with that too!
From its earliest days, the Northwest Arkansas Handweavers Guild (NWAHG) has provided teaching and learning opportunities for its members and outreach to the wider community, including demonstrations for both children and adults. The Northwest Arkansas Handweavers Guild, founded in 1949 in West Fork, celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2024.
