Author David Lee Holcomb will talk about writing as a refuge in turbulent times. Books will be available for sale and signing.
With three fantasy novels to his name, David offers a compelling glimpse into his creative and professional world. In an era marked by uncertainty and rapid change, he has chosen to write escapist fantasy—stories that transport readers beyond the pressures of reality into vivid realms of magic, adventure, and wonder. His talk delves into his motivations, creative process, and the challenges involved in bringing a book to life and drawing it into the public eye.
After a career as a graphic designer for television news in Birmingham, Fort Lauderdale, and Dallas, David Lee Holcomb now lives in rural northwest Arkansas with his husband, herd of cats, a few chickens, and that unseen thing in the basement that sings strange songs late at night.
David also plays the saxophone, grows orchids, teaches art, and writes novels. Not necessarily in that order.
