Learn about the lasers! Completion of this Learning Lab is required for all users before booking an appointment to use the laser equipment.
This orientation focuses on using the Epilog Zing and (brand new!) xTool P3 lasers for engraving and cutting. We'll talk about how to safely operate the equipment, what materials are approved for use, and how to send files to the lasers.
This class is required for all users before booking a laser reservation in the Fabrication & Robotics Lab. Upon completion of the Learning Lab, participants will receive a digital badge on their library card, allowing them to easily reserve lab equipment on open lab days.
