Super Saturday: Arkansas Math Discovery Day

Join FPL and the University of Arkansas Department of Mathematical Sciences for a day of mathematical fun.

This community event explores the wonderful world of math beyond the classroom – with fascinating patterns, puzzles and questions. Members of the Department of Mathematical Sciences, along with others from the community, will share their love and joy of mathematics through a variety of hands-on activities for the whole family (preschool to high school!), including math games, puzzles, art and more.

Department of Mathematical Sciences is committed to high-level mathematical research and mathematics instruction and to the values of a broad, interdisciplinary education, preparing students for a variety of different career goals, including industry, education, and further graduate study.  The Department is also committed to bringing together and strengthening the math community to increase access to math and inspire the broader Arkansas community.
