Walker Community Room (3rd Floor)Join us for a livestream of TED Democracy: Founding Futures, a free one-day event featuring over a dozen brand-new TED talks, exploring the past, present, and future of democracy.
We are proud to have been selected as one of the locations for TED Democracy LIVE, a collaboration between Visit Philadelphia and the American Library Association (ALA), to livestream this incredible event for FREE in public libraries across the country. Streaming live from Philadelphia leading up to America’s 250th birthday celebrations, this landmark event convenes bold thinkers and civic leaders to share ideas and solutions designed to inform and inspire. Through a series of more than a dozen brand-new TED Talks, the event will explore the democratic future we want to create, while giving a nod to the past and the important milestone we’re marking in Philadelphia.

This livestream event will feature three sessions, happening from 10am to 4:30pm. Individual session times subject to change.
- Session 1: 10am–11:30am
- Session 2: 1pm–2:30pm
- Session 3: 3pm–4:30pm
