NWAAT Presents "The Patriot Hour"
Saturday, June 06
2:00pm - 4:00pm
Fayetteville Public Library
Walker Community Room (3rd Floor)Join us for Northwest Arkansas Audio Theater's interactive presentation, The Patriot Hour, to celebrate the America 250 commemoration.
The Patriot Hour is designed to bring history to life in a way that is immediate, engaging, and accessible to today’s audiences. Drawing inspiration from the classic style of the Lux Radio Theatre, this production uses voice, music, and live sound effects to recreate two defining moments of the American Revolution: The Signing of the Declaration of Independence and Washington Crossing the Delaware.
Rather than presenting history as something distant, our goal is to place the audience in the room—to hear the debates, feel the tension, and experience the resolve of those who shaped the founding of our nation. These were real people facing uncertain outcomes, and their courage continues to resonate today.
Presented as part of the America 250 commemoration, this production is also created in collaboration with the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, whose mission of historic preservation and education aligns closely with the spirit of this program.
