Walmart Story Time Room (1st Floor)Join us for a lively, family-friendly event with award-winning author and illustrator Dan Santat.
Dan shares stories behind his books, including The Adventures of Beekle: The Unimaginary Friend and A First Time for Everything, along with his creative process, inspirations, and reading life.
Pearl's Books will be onsite with books available for purchase, and a book signing will follow the presentation.
About the author
Dan Santat is an author, illustrator and screenwriter known for his children's book The Adventures of Beekle: The Unimaginary Friend, which won the 2015 Caldecott Medal for distinguished illustration. He also wrote The Guild of Geniuses and created the Disney Channel animated series The Replacements. He was awarded the 2023 National Book Award for Young People's Literature for A First Time for Everything.
