Ann Henry Board Room (3rd Floor)Program specialist Sharon Hopper will talk about the services available to veterans through Arkansas Workforce Connections.
Arkansas Workforce Connections provides services to meet the employment needs of eligible veterans, with an emphasis on disabled veterans and those who are economically or educationally disadvantaged.
Specialists assist veterans with vocational guidance, career planning, and employment opportunities. Some of the services they offer veterans in gaining and retaining employment include: transitioning from military to civilian careers, translating military experience into civilian skills, creating or refining resumés, finding job training and apprenticeship programs, connecting veterans with employers who are hiring, and much more.
This program is free. No registration required.
