Introduction to American Sign Language (ASL) *

Ann Henry Board Room (3rd Floor)Learn basic American Sign Language with Sarah Bright! This series will introduce attendees to letters and numbers, simple requests and questions, basic vocabulary, and a few basic conversations.
The classes are free but registration is required. Signing up for one class registers you for all three sessions offered on Friday, July 10, 17, and 24.
Meet the Instructor
Sarah Bright (M.A. CCC-SLP) received her Bachelor’s in Communication Disorders from Western Kentucky University and her Master’s from the University of Memphis in Speech-Language Pathology. She is a certified Speech Language Pathologist, working with patients with Down Syndrome, AU, and other genetic disorders. She has a certificate in ASL and is a former member of ASLO. When she’s not working, Sarah enjoys baking, reading, and playing tennis. Sarah is passionate about helping others and is excited to share her knowledge of ASL!
