Relive the joys, achievements, trials, and tribulations of early Fayetteville pioneers with a guided walking tour of Fayetteville's early cemetery.
Established in 1847, Evergreen Cemetery spans over ten acres and is the final resting place of approximately 3,200 individuals, including prominent early settlers, soldiers, statesmen, and community leaders. Learn about the fascinating history of those who shaped Fayetteville while exploring this beautiful and peaceful site.
The tour will last approximately 1.5 hours. Attendees will meet at the cemetery, located at William and University Streets. Please wear comfortable walking shoes, as the terrain can be uneven.
