Ozark Ballet Theater will provide adult students with everything they need to begin the practice of Classical Ballet for fun and fitness.
In association with Fayetteville Public Library, Ozark Ballet Theater will provide students of this workshop with everything they need to begin the practice of Classical Ballet for fun and fitness. Starting with a secure and functional foundation in proper technique, this class will safely take students from the fundamental positions all the way to jumps and turns! Join us each Saturday at 1pm for 50 minutes of fitness and fun from July 10 to August 14. Register now! Please wear any color leotard, tights, and ballet slippers or yoga wear with socks. Hair should be worn in a bun or pulled back from face. Gentlemen are welcome to wear gym wear.
Class size is limited and series registration is required.
Instructors:
Katie Stasse:
Katie has been a passionate teacher, performer and choreographer for nearly two decades. Her well organized ballet curriculum has proven successful and many of her students have enjoyed fruitful careers as professional dancers. With a focus on building technique, strength and confidence, her inspiring but challenging programs are appreciated by everyone she teaches.
David Sanders:
David began dancing at the age of 16, attended the University of Arizona as a Dance Major before leaving to pursue a professional career. With a deep well of experience from over a decade as a freelance performer, teacher and choreographer, his enthusiastic teaching style has inspired students across the USA.
Ozark Ballet Theater:
Ozark Ballet Theater is a new classical ballet school on a mission to provide improved access to classical ballet training and performance throughout Northwest Arkansas. Our first programs began in spring of 2021 and we have been building momentum towards our ultimate goal of building our own fully equipped facility in 2022. Ozark Ballet Theater is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit (Status Pending).
