Cartoonist Zeke Peña hosts a teen comics workshop with an emphasis on character design.
Join storyteller and cartoonist Zeke Peña as he teaches participants how to create their own comic book character and design a comic book page! Participants will learn some comic making basics with hands-on instruction from Zeke, illustrator of the award-winning titles "My Papi Has a Motorcycle and Photographic: The Life of Graciela Iturbide".
Supplies will be provided, but seating is limited and registration is required. Registration opens October 15.
This event is part of the True Lit Fayetteville Literary Festival, now in its 9th year. The festival is in collaboration with the Fayetteville Public Schools, Fayetteville Public Education Foundation, University of Arkansas Program in Creative Writing and Translation and Altrusa International of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
